Attended: Tim Longnecker, Laurie Montgomery, Dan Miller, Howard Rush, Talia Preissman, Mike Allen, Judy Simpson, Elliot Beinfest, Darren Matik
Special Guest: Sean Clancy: CSI Camp Proposal Presentation: One day 7 hr clinic geared for 7th -12th Grade. $120 per Student, total 30 students for a class (chaperone will be needed) Will need a classroom facility to host. Some ideas were the old rescue squad building or library. Laurie checking with Mainland for a classroom during summer. Will give Rec Board 30% referral.
Treasurers Report: $14,000
Council Liaison: Darren Matik: Welcomed Mike Allen and Judy Simpson as new members.
Park Director Report: Laurie wanted to see if she can use $500 to purchase the wreaths and bows for the remainder of the poles needed to be decorated along the bike path.
Council Report: Elliot Beinfest and Darren Matik, Meeting with Architect for Soccer building Jan 5th 2018, the 1st bids for baseball building were rejected, going back out for bid before new year.
Old Business:
Sports Grants: We cannot supply any grants for 2017. Panthers so far are only recipients for 2016
Special Capital/Poplar Ave Update: Still working on punch list with City
Year End Financial Reports: All sports need to be submitted
Fee Schedule for Field Use: Needs to be finalized by next meeting
Old Playground: $27,941 to remove and install at Library. Maria Moss meeting with the board for approval.
Field Scheduling: Nothing in for 2018 yet
New Business:
Christmas Tree Lighting Recap: Very Successful event, ran out of cookies, 2 hr Santa line, ran out of hot chocolate, all and all huge turn out
Light/Decoration removal trash and storage: plan to use the rescue squad building
LAX/Soccer Building: Howard still looking for a shed
Sub-Committee for Skate Park: multiple people are interested in joining the committee
Sub-Committee for 2018 Event/Capital: Meeting at some point with Tim Longnecker

Football: Talia Preissman: Some board changes for 2018. Voting will happen in nominations will be in Jan
Baseball: Dan Miller: want to make Babe Ruth smaller field
Hockey: NONE
Lacrosse: Howard Rush: Gearing up for spring, nets are out for repair, repairs being donated
Soccer: Artificial Turf Petition for upper field
Laser BB: Dan Miller: Sign-ups are going on for 3rd and 4th grade rec boys, Chris Meade is taking care of
k-2 boys/girls
